Founder & Managing Director
Danilo is an experienced Executive Search Consultant who founded Tafuta Associates in July 2016. He previously co-founded NFT Executive Search, the executive search arm of NFT Consult, a Ugandan HR outsourcing, recruitment and training provider with operations in six East African countries.
Prior to this, Danilo worked as a Consultant in the London office of Veredus, the British executive search firm owned by Capita plc (FTSE 100 - LSE: CPI). He started his career in the United Kingdom with Alexander Mann Solutions, the global market leader in Recruitment Process Outsourcing.
Danilo holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Sociology from the University of York (United Kingdom).
Alisha has a rich research background with experience in human development and social impact within both an East African and North American context.
Within these positions, she has strategically improved organizational effectiveness and brand visibility by utilizing quantitative and qualitative data collected from client insights. She has also harnessed grant opportunities to spearhead and grow projects aimed at developing health & educational tools and services for underprivileged communities.
Alisha holds an MA in Developmental Psychology from the University of Toronto (Canada) and a BA in Psychology from Western University (Canada).
Nelson has experience with theoretical and empirical research in development economics, with a focus on market imperfections in the Kenyan lands sector.
Prior to his role at Tafuta Associates, Nelson worked in administrative positions at the Harvard Art Museum’s Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, and at the Harvard University Fine Arts Library. He is the Creator of BIDII--a non-profit, four-part original Kenyan film series, written about the wins and woes of Kenyan youth.
Nelson is a Kenyan national, born and raised in the Rift Valley, and is fluent in both Swahili and English. He has a degree in Economics with a secondary in African Studies, from Harvard University.
